WASHINGTON – He’s making another run at it.

Two years after running a spirited campaign challenging House Speaker Paul Ryan in the Republican primary for Wisconsin’s First Congressional District, businessman Paul Nehlen will challenge the sitting speaker again in 2018.

He made the announcement official with a news release Friday.

“Speaker Ryan didn’t help Mr. Trump defeat Hillary Clinton, and even pledged not to defend the president,” Nehlen stated. “But I have a message for Speaker Ryan: The American people are not done fighting for President Trump’s good agenda. That’s why I am announcing my second challenge to Paul Ryan for the nomination in Wisconsin’s first congressional district.”

“Wage the Battle: Putting America First in the Fight to Stop Globalist Politicians and Secure the Borders” is a call to action. It is the amazing story of how self-described “manufacturing guy” Paul Nehlen took on Speaker of the House Paul Ryan in one of the most closely followed congressional races in the nation. Nehlen’s run presaged the international movement against globalism which reached its climax with the election of President Donald Trump. It’s a firsthand look at the development of one of the original “Trump Republicans” and the populist message which is sending shockwaves through the Beltway Right.

Nehlen touted his first campaign’s role in the demise of the Trans-Pacific Partnership, a deal supported by Ryan and President Obama that Nehlen believes would have killed American jobs. He lambasted Ryan for failing to work for the Trump agenda.

“Paul Ryan is a career politician who has been in D.C. for nearly two decades,” Nehlen stated. “He may have been a nice Wisconsin boy when he left Janesville, but now Ryan is working for special interests and industry bosses, working to sell Wisconsin’s jobs to Mexico and Asia. Ryan is working hand-in-hand with multinational corporations to reduce their costs by giving them access to low-paid immigrant labor. And it is decimating Wisconsin’s economy.

“Wisconsin voted to drain the swamp last November, so that’s what I’m going to do.”

In addition to his previous dalliance with politics, Nehlen is a business executive and inventor who started his career on the factory floor and eventually rose to lead Fortune 500 manufacturing companies around the world. He recently authored the book “Wage the Battle: Putting America First in the Fight to Stop Globalist Politicians and Secure the Borders.”

Conservative icon Ann Coulter praised “Wage the Battle: Putting America First in the Fight to Stop Globalist Politicians and Secure the Borders,” saying, “In his heart, you know President Trump wanted to endorse Paul Nehlen.”

Coulter added, “In 2016, the year of Trump, the great, patriotic businessman Paul Nehlen, challenged House Speaker Ryan for the Republican nomination. With the entire establishment GOP against him, Nehlen didn’t win . . . but he did force Ryan to double-cross his corporate masters. Much to Ryan’s discomfort, Nehlen isn’t going anyway. He will be a thorn in all double-crossing Republicans’ side for some time to come.”

He is also now warning Americans about the dark side of the refugee resettlement industry, producing the brand-new documentary “Hijrah: Radical Islam’s Global Invasion.”
