Rep. Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) really dislikes President Bush. And she isn’t sure that he’s mentally competent to lead.
During an appearance on MSNBC’s “Morning Joe,” Pelosi said the president needs to get more sleep.
“I think his family should be concerned about his health,” she said. “The fact is that this is hopefully not reparable — he’s the president of the United States.”
“You mean you hope it is reparable?” host Joe Scarborough corrected.
“Yeah, yeah,” she said.
“Go to sleep, get some sleep,” Pelosi advised the president. “Bring yourself to a place where your synapses are working.”
Later, evidently proud of her diagnoses of the president’s sleep deprivation, Pelosi repeated the line.
Oh yeah, and he’s not nice.
The only problem is that it isn’t entirely clear whether Pelosi knows what decade it is, or which GOP president she’s supposed to be criticizing.
She also isn’t sure what day of the week it is.
