Elites from from 196 nations created a giant carbon footprint on Monday to negotiate ways of combating global climate change.

Roughly 22,000 official and 33,000 unofficial attendees at the 2015 U.N. Climate Change Conference in Paris, France, contributed “300,000 Tons of CO2″ released into the air while in transit.

The technology magazine Wired teamed up with climateParis.org and carbon-Price.com on Monday to calculate the environmental cost of travel to the summit, which was attended by world leaders like President Obama, Chinese President Xi Jinping, Russian President Vladimir Putin, German Chancellor Angela Merkel, and French President Francois Hollande.

“I come here personally as the leader of world’s biggest economy and second biggest emitter to say that America not only acknowledges its role in climate change but embraces doing something about it,” Obama said in his opening remarks. “One of the enemies we will be fighting at this conference is cynicism. The notion we cannot do anything about climate change. … Let’s show businesses and investors that the global economy is on a firm path to a low carbon future.”

“Never before has a responsibility so great been in the hands of so few. The world is looking to you,” added U.N. climate chief Christina Figueres, USA Today reported.

Wired calculated that Obama and most of the other 55,000 attendees at Monday’s climate change conference burned 27 million gallons of jet fuel in total. The average person traveled 9,000 to be there.

“The marquee goal of Paris/COP21 is to keep average global temperatures from rising 2˚C. Or at least, it was. It’s pretty clear that currently, the combined commitments from the involved countries fall short of that,” the magazine concluded.

Diplomats will spend the next two weeks trying to find agreement on how to cut roughly 80 quadrillion pounds of CO2 released into the atmosphere each year. The conference ends Dec. 11.

Allegations of Bill Clinton’s unwanted sexual advances now include former first lady Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis.

Authors Darwin Porter and Danforth Prince claim in the upcoming, “Bill & Hillary: So This Is That Thing Called Love,” that Clinton tried to seduce Kennedy during a visit to her Fifth Avenue apartment in Manhattan.

“We almost indulged in a wrestling match. It was most embarrassing,” they report Kennedy telling former Washington Post publisher Katharine Graham. “I mean, I was flattered that I turned him on so much at my age, but Bill was just like Jack [Kennedy] in the sense that neither of them wanted to take ‘no’ for an answer. Ever since that day, I prefer not to be alone with Bill.”

Kennedy died May 19, 1994.

In the pages of “Target: Caught in the Crosshairs of Bill and Hillary Clinton,” Democratic activist Kathleen Willey breaks a decade-long silence to reveal the shocking details of her torment at the hands the Clintons. Get your copy today at the WND Superstore.

The authors claim Graham told the secret to author Truman Capote, who then spread word throughout their social circles, the New York Post reported Sunday. Clinton’s sexual proclivities were allegedly so dangerous, the authors add, that Hillary demanded her husband be tested for HIV.

A representative for the Clinton family responded to the Daily Mail’s coverage of the book on Sunday, saying, “[Is it] possible to quote me laughing at the sheer absurdity of this story?”

Other infamous sexual stories and allegations against Clinton include:

  • Eileen Wellstone claims Clinton raped her in 1969. The two allegedly met at an Oxford pub.
  • Juanita Broaddrick claims Clinton raped her April 25, 1978.
  • Gennifer Flowers said she was Clinton’s mistress for 12 years.
  • Kathleen Willey, a former White House aided, claims Clinton sexually assaulted her Nov. 29, 1993.
  • Paula Jones sued Clinton for sexual harassment in 1994. The lawsuit was dropped in 1998 after an $850,000 out-of-court settlement was reached.
  • Former White House intern Monica Lewinsky had an affair with Clinton in 1998. Clinton was impeached by the U.S. House of Representatives in 1999, but acquitted by the Senate.
  • Virginia Roberts, who accused billionaire Jeffery Epstein of turning her into a sex slave on “Orgy Island,” said Clinton visited the U.S. Virgin Islands property. Authors Roger Stone and Robert Morrow of “The Clintons’ War on Women,” also claim Clinton “took eighteen trips on Epstein’s plane (which was known as the ‘Lolita Express’ for orgies with underage girls).”

“Bill & Hillary: So This Is That Thing Called Love” will be released Dec. 21. by Blood Moon Productions.

Black pastor defends Trump against ‘liberal media’

(DAILY CALLER) Dr. Darrell Scott, Pastor of New Spirit Revival Center in Cleveland Heights, Ohio, said the Monday meeting between black pastors and Donald Trump was a “meaningful dialogue… and we voiced concerns that were sensitive to the African-American community.”

Scott, speaking at Trump Tower in New York City said, “I didn’t have concerns [with Trump] because I was already convinced, but there were concerns that the liberal media has put out portraying Mr. Trump in a light that I know he’s not the type of person he was depicted to be. So what we were able to do today was allow to see his heart for themselves and to make up their own minds about him. And they find out that he’s not the person that the media has depicted him to be.”

Herman Cain to Jeb: ‘At least I was once winning’

(THE HILL) Former Republican presidential candidate Herman Cain lashed out at Jeb Bush in a blistering op-ed published Monday, saying he did better in his losing 2012 run than Bush has been able to do in 2016.

“At least I was once winning,” Cain wrote on his website. “Jeb Bush has been doing nothing but losing throughout this entire campaign. His problem is him.”

Last week, Bush reportedly pointed to Cain, a pizza magnate who led the GOP presidential field in October and November of 2011, as evidence that outsiders such as Donald Trump and Ben Carson will falter before the first votes are cast in Iowa.

Democrat predicts big problems as Middle Eastern ‘refugees’ exploit border weakness

While the debate over the Obama administration’s refugee resettlement plan rages on, one Texas congressman says Americans should worry first about people from the Middle East who will soon flood across the nation’s unprotected southern border.

During a recent interview, Democratic Rep. Henry Cuellar said there’s already plenty of evidence of Syrian refugees and people from elsewhere in the Middle East exploiting U.S. border weakness and lax immigration policies.

“They turned themselves in — so they were not trying to abscond themselves; they were not trying to sneak in. They just said here we are,” Cuellar said of eight Syrian refugees who recently turned themselves in to Immigration and Customs Enforcement after entering the country illegally.

That wasn’t an isolated incident, as Cuellar pointed out in a recent statement: “Honduran police stopped and detained five Syrians trying to enter the Central American nation illegally. According to a spokesman for the Honduran Police Investigation Unit, there is reason to believe these young men were going to try to illegally travel to the United States. While there is no evidence, as of today, that these men have ties to terrorism, this shows the important role our friends south of the border play in keeping our own nation safe.”

Just one day before the Syrians turned themselves in to authorities, five Pakistanis and an Afghan were apprehended trying to sneak into the country along the Arizona border.

According to the lawmaker, Congress should make sure that the U.S. is working with the governments of countries south of the border to mitigate any terrorist threat that illegal immigration could bring.

“Mexico stopped 174,000 people last year that were coming into the U.S, and they did it only with $80 million,” he said.

Cuellar, who voted in favor of a recent Republican bill to increase vetting for Syrian refugees, said that those coming in across the border are particularly concerning because once they’re released pending an immigration hearing, the government can’t realistically keep up with them.

Who needs climate change to destroy the Earth when we have climate change protesters?

If climate change doesn’t do the world in, perhaps its alarmed acolytes can finish the job.

They’re certainly doing yeoman’s work in Paris, where on Monday far-left climate protesters obliterated a memorial honoring victims of the Nov. 13 ISIS terror attacks.

Unhappy with world powers’ lack of urgency in advancing an accelerated program of action to save the planet from global warming and/or climate change, activists began pillaging the memorial, using its vigil candles “as weapons,” according to International Business Times:

Since the attacks in which 130 people were killed by Islamic extremists, the Marianne statue in the Place de la Republique has become the focal point for those wishing to pay tribute to the dead. But on 29 November the square was the site of violent protests, as environmental protesters clashed with riot police on the eve of a key UN climate change conference.

In the wake of the clashes tributes and flowers left for the dead were photographed scattered across the square, after protesters used tribute candles as weapons.

Protesters also threw various hard objects at French police ordered to contain the protest, including “a hammer, rocks, and glass candle holders from the memorial,” according to IBT. You can also tell, from the second photo above, that there were plenty of flying shoes.

A ban on public assembly has remained in effect in Paris since the ISIS terror attacks. Police arrested 208 protesters. The outburst took place as the world’s government leaders, including President Barack Obama, converged on Paris for a U.N. climate change conference.

Trump is fine with trading liberty for security

If you’re not a fan of the sort of ever-present surveillance kicked off under the George W. Bush administration and continued by President Barack Obama, GOP presidential hopeful Donald Trump isn’t your man for 2016.

The real estate magnate, during an interview on MSNBC’s “Morning Joe” Monday, suggested that security would always trump privacy under his watch.

Saying he’d “err on the side of security” when deciding how much is too much government spying, Trump aligned himself with establishment Republican candidates Sen. Marco Rubio of Florida and former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush.

“Every time I pick up a phone, I assume people are listening to my conversations,” Trump said. “I don’t like it, but I have to make that assumption. I would really much err on the side of security. As a lot of people would agree with me on that.”

Trump’s remarks came a day after new NSA reforms designed to make it harder for the government to spy on Americans took effect.

Asked whether those reforms should be reversed due to new terror threats, Trump responded: “Well, I err on the side of security … You know, it’s a very interesting issue. But I happen to be — and I’ve been there from the beginning, I’ve been there from before the Paris attack. After every attack, everybody says exactly this. I err on the side of security. I err on the side of security.”

So far, Sens. Ted Cruz of Texas and Rand Paul of Kentucky are the only GOP presidential contenders to unequivocally support Americans’ 4th Amendment right to be free of government snooping in private communications.

That support has led to attacks from their establishment opponents.

“At least two of my colleagues in the Senate aspiring to the presidency — Sen. Cruz in particular — have voted to weaken the U.S. intelligence programs just in the last month and a half,” Rubio recently said of the two. “And the weakening of our intelligence gathering capabilities leaves America vulnerable.”

Hillary plied donors for party, foundation cash while on the job as secretary of state

No man can serve two masters, but maybe a woman can.

Hillary Clinton used her position at the State Department to arrange meetings with moneyed interests that had nothing to do with State Department business, according to a Monday report.

The Associated Press reported that “dozens” of Clinton Foundation donors, Democratic Party fundraisers and Clinton “loyalists” all got time on the official secretary of state calendar, with “nearly 100” paying Clinton a visit or participating in officially scheduled phone conversations while she was on the job at the State Department.

Despite using her federal position to receive and, presumably, solicit contributions from partisan donors, Clinton’s actions didn’t persuade The AP that she’d done anything illegal or unethical.

Because she met with the same type of corporatist leaders who’d met with other secretaries of state in the past, The AP explains, Clinton wasn’t doing anything out of the ordinary — even though those other secretaries of state didn’t have gigantic, branching, politicized global charities to fund.

While The AP acknowledged the Clinton Foundation’s complicating role, it mainly justified the newsworthiness of its own story by framing Clinton’s behavior as significant to her eventual 2016 presidential candidacy.

Following that logic, the extent to which donors and corporate heads got access to Secretary Clinton could serve as an indicator — or a “sounding board,” in The AP’s wording — of how much weight their interests carried at the highest levels of government.

To obtain information on who met with Clinton and when, the AP accessed nearly 1,300 pages of State Department calendars dating from 2009 to 2013, when she served as secretary. That access came only after the State Department censored the calendars, as it complied with The AP’s Freedom of Information Act request for records.

Trump: Obama climate talk ‘dumbest’ in history

Washington (CNN)Donald Trump said Monday that President Barack Obama’s comments that climate change poses one of the greatest threats to the U.S. is one of the “dumbest things” ever said.

The GOP presidential front-runner made the comments at the same time that the President addressed a global summit of leaders on climate change in Paris on Monday morning.

Trump was taking Obama to task for his past remarks that global climate change is one of the greatest threats facing the United States and the world.
